This Art Club Has a Problem is a 2016 slice of life/rom-com anime series by Studio Feel. The series follows a handful of members in a school art-club that are trying to take away various things from the club, and school. Mizuki is a serious art-student trying to get the club behind actually doing art, while the president of the club would rather sleep their time away. There is one member Subaru that draws his potential 2D wives.
This Art Club Has a Problem, is a rather plotless anime series. Which is fine, it is a nice time-waster to watch in between more in depth series. The series is quite easy to drop in and out of, because of the nature of its storytelling, and one could easily jump into a random episode without feeling the weight of having not seen others, and still manage to find enjoyment in it. The characters are solid, and interesting enough to keep viewers interest in lieu of an overarching story. The animation is fantastic, and fitting to the atmosphere of the show.
Sentai Filmworks presents This Art Club Has a Problem with a quite solid 1:78:1 1080p AVC encoded transfer preserving the OAR of the show. Detail is solid, colors are well reproduced. Audio is handled by a Japanese DTS-HD 2.0 track that sounds quite reasonable and depicts the show audio well. No extras. RECOMMENDED.
