The Series (4/5)

   3 days ago Arata's village was destroyed, and his cousin Hijiri stolen. He has also discovered that he has magical powers that make him a candidate for Demon Lord (meaning he can create worlds and more).  He enrolls in the Royal Biblia Academy in order to find his cousin, and develop his powers.   Of course, in order to accomplish his goals he needs the help of the "Trinity Seven" seven magical women whose powers are tied into the seven deadly sins.

    OK, so I had a BLAST with Trinity Seven.   It has a lot in common with other "harem" style anime, but it has an interesting style to it, and also a sense of sleazy fun. There is plenty of nudity, weird magic, and some elements of mystery to keep fans watching. The animation is solid with character designs being quite interesting for the most part.  The show has a solid pacing, and was never boring, and I would definitely recommend it to fans of the genre.

Audio/Video (4.5/5)

    Sentai Filmworks presents Trinity Seven with a solid 1:78:1 1080p AVC encoded transfer. Detail is solid, colors are well reproduced, there are decent blacks, and not much banding to worry about. The audio is presented with DTS-HD MA 2.0 tracks in both English and Japenese, both tracks are quite solid with dialogue and score coming through clearly.

Overall

     Trinity Seven is a fun sleazy magical harem anime. The Blu-ray looks and sounds quite good, but extras are limited. RECOMMENDED.
