The Film: 2/5

Picking up where part two left off, the third installment in the Nuke ‘Em High series begins with Roger Smith’s twin sons, Adlai and Dick, being born. You remember Roger Smith, the fellow that saved the day when a giant mutant squirrel destroyed the Tromaville Power Plant. Immediately after the sons are born, Dick is stolen at the hospital, thus leading Roger to believe that he only has one son. It’s purely a balanced diet, as Dick is taught devilish ways while Adlai is taught to be good and peaceful.

Besides that strange triangle, Tromaville is under the attack from a sub humanoid army of evil led by the sinister Dr. Slag and his equally evil sidekick, Professor Holt. Not to mention Tromie, the nuclear rodent who is still somehow on the loose.

Heavy on the camp, this flick is hands down just fun! There are honestly some really great quality practical effects despite having an obviously low overall budget. And be on the lookout for a familiar face! Hint…hint.

Audio/Video: 3/5

Class of Nuke ‘Em High 3 features an English Dolby Digital 2.0 audio track. The audio is surprisingly clear, with the dialog being heard easily. There were not a lot of pops or audio drops and while not stunning, it definitely does its job.

Many thanks go to Troma Entertainment for releasing the Blu-ray. The film is presented in 1080p with an aspect ratio of 1.78:1. Overall the video quality looks pretty darn good.
